Google's Android smartphone attracting fast-growing developer community

Android phones have only recently become a reality, and they are rapidly gaining in popularity, to the point where approximately 60,000 of them are being shipped every day.Google's Android mobile phone system is building momentum. It has changes for users life. Android smartphone users in the UK can enjoy high quality live mobile TV channels from some of the UK's leading broadcasters, including the ITV, BBC,and Channel 4, using a WiFi or 3G phones are rapidly increasingly turning to Android mobile phone system, which is not only free but attracting a fast-growing developer community.This Alliance is now 34 companies strong, and holds some of the biggest players in the market, includingT-Mobile, Motorola and Sprint-Nextel.



Android mobile supports the following audio/video/still media formats: H.263, H.264 (in 3GP  or MP4 container), MPEG-4 SP, AMR, AMR-WB (in 3GP container), AAC, HE-AAC (in MP4 or 3GP container),JPEG,BMP,PNG, GIF, MP3, MIDI,WAV,Ogg Vorbis.


Android platform is adaptable to larger, VGA, 2D graphics library, 3D graphics library based on OpenGL ES 2.0 specifications, and traditional smartphone layouts.Software written in Java can be compiled to be executed in the Dalvik virtual machine, which is a specialized VM implementation designed for mobile device use, although not technically a standard Java Virtual Machine. Android does not support J2ME, like some other mobile operating systems.
